# Quotations

Create and complete commercial proposals, and find them again.

## Create a quotation

Create a new quotation for a customer.

**Required information** : The customer (taken from the active context); the date (today by default).

**Examples** :

> *Create a quotation for this customer.*

**Limits** : A creation verb always opens a new quotation, even if one is already active in the context.

## Add a line to a quotation

Add a line to a draft quotation: a product from the ERP catalog (real label and price) or a free line.

**Required information** : The quotation (from the context); a description; a unit price excl. VAT for a free line; a quantity (1 by default).

**Examples** :

> *Add a line “Fibre installation”, quantity 1, unit price €500 excl. VAT to the quotation.*

**Limits** : For a catalog product, SpeakDo uses the recorded price and never invents one. A validated quotation no longer accepts lines: the action is refused with an explicit message.

## Search quotations

Search quotations by reference or customer, filter by status (draft, validated, signed, not signed).

- value “facturee” of `status` refused — Un devis ERPNext n'a pas de statut « facturé » : la facturation part d'une commande.
